 Congratulations to HWI Head Coach Michael Fasching who was awarded ‘Hong Kong Coach of the Year 2015’ by the HK Swimming Coaches Association at its Annual awards dinner. Male Swimmer of the Year was ex HWI swimmer Geoffrey Cheah; he has broken more than 10 Hong Kong records in 2015, winning a Gold and Silver medal recently at the Fina World Cup held in Hong Kong. Female Swimmer of the Year was ex HWI swimmer Siobhan Haughey; she has achieved an A-standard in both 200m Freestyle and 200m Individual Medley to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games. Ex HWI Olympic Swimmer and Coach Hannah Wilson attended as a guest to present some of awards. | |
