Harry Wright Swimmer Ilythia Knecht Wins Silver at French Short Course Junior Championships

We are thrilled to celebrate the exceptional achievements of Ilythia Knecht, a 14-year-old member of the Harry Wright Performance Squad, who recently competed at the French Short Course Youth Championship in Angers, France, from December 10-14, 2025.
A Standout Performance
Ilythia's dedication and hard work paid off in spectacular fashion. She participated in five events at the championship and demonstrated remarkable consistency by qualifying for the finals in every single event—a testament to her versatility and swimming prowess across multiple disciplines.
The highlight of her championship was a silver medal in the 50m backstroke, where she posted an impressive finals time of 29.78 seconds. This achievement places her among the elite young swimmers in Europe and reflects the quality of coaching and training she receives at Harry Wright Swim School.
