As we begin 2026, Harry Wright Swim School has important updates for our team families. Learn about upcoming invoices, exciting stroke camps, sprint meets, pool maintenance schedules, and other key information to help you plan your swimming season.

Harry Wright swimmers showcased their competitive excellence at the HKGSA Division 1 Short Course Championship held at Victoria Park on December 28th. Despite limited participation during the Christmas holiday period, our athletes achieved outstanding results including medals, top-8 finishes, and strong relay performances.

Harry Wright swimmers delivered impressive performances at the HKGSA Short Course Division 3 Championship held at Shing Mun Valley on December 20th. The team earned multiple medals and numerous top-8 finishes across all age groups, showcasing the depth and talent within our competitive program.

Congratulations to Harry Wright Performance Squad swimmer Ilythia Knecht on her outstanding performance at the French Short Course Youth Championships in Angers. The 14-year-old swimmer claimed a silver medal in the 50m backstroke and qualified for finals in all five events she competed in.

Our swimmers had an incredible opportunity to refine their breaststroke technique at our recent Harry Wright Stroke Camp. The session featured expert guidance from Hong Kong's own national and international breaststroke champion, Adam Chillingworth, along with in-depth video analysis from our coaching team.

The team made a spectacular showing at the RBSC Bangkok meet with 31 swimmers competing on November 29th-30th. Virat Sudharsan won overall Individual Champion (11-12 boys), while three teammates earned runner-up honors. The team collected 16 medals and achieved numerous personal bests in this international competition.

Harry Wright Swim School’s 50th Anniversary Charity Gala at SCAA on 23 November 2025 brought together our Learn to Swim families to raise HK$100,000 for the Home of Loving Faithfulness, giving young swimmers a fun first taste of competition while supporting lifelong care for people with severe disabilities in Hong Kong.

The HWI-SCA swim team delivered outstanding performances at the CASA Short Course Championships held on November 23rd at Shing Mun Valley. Ashley Koh led the medal haul with one gold and three silver medals, while Sean Wong secured four silver medals. The team also achieved multiple top-8 finishes across individual events and relays, demonstrating strong depth and competitive excellence throughout all age groups.
