HKG Age Group Champs Report
The Hong Kong Age Group Long Course Championships 2025 were held from 31st October to 2nd November at Kowloon Park Swimming Pool, concluding the long course season with strong competition from local teams. The Harry Wright Swim School squad included elite performers and world-class swimmers, providing an invaluable experience for younger athletes. Special congratulations go to Ho Ian Yentou for setting a new Hong Kong record in the 100m Butterfly, and to all individual and relay medallists for their outstanding achievements. The team’s commitment and performance were exceptional, with many swimmers achieving top 8 finishes and earning valuable team points. Well done to everyone who competed and contributed to this successful championship.

Inter-School Swim Series
On 31st October, the Schools Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China hosted the Inter-Primary School Competition (Hong Kong East District) at Victoria Park Swimming Pool. Harry Wright Swim School swimmers represented their schools with distinction, achieving excellent results in multiple events. Special congratulations to Lee Chun Hei, who won gold in the Boys A Grade 100m Breaststroke—setting a new meet record—and the 50m Freestyle, as well as to Yip Joelle Yee Kiu, who secured gold in the Girls A Grade 100m Breaststroke. Well done to all HWI swimmers for their strong performances and continued commitment.

Stroke Camp and Sprint Meet News
On Sunday 26th October, 14 squad swimmers participated in the Freestyle Stroke Camp held at the SCAA pool, a valuable opportunity for skill development and training. The afternoon event was followed by a successful Sprint Meet, where nearly 100 Developmental squad swimmers competed—many experiencing their first competition and achieving personal bests or improvements. Special thanks are extended to the parents who assisted with timekeeping, ensuring a smooth and efficient event for all participants. There are still a few places available for upcoming stroke camps, including the Backstroke Camp on 9th November and the Breaststroke Camp on 14th December, which features Hong Kong National Breaststroke swimmer Adam Chillingworth as a guest coach. Well done to all swimmers for their efforts and achievements.

HKSSF Inter-school- News from Today!
On 24th October, two Inter-school swimming competitions were held: the Inter-Primary School Competition (Hong Kong West District) at Victoria Park and the Inter-Secondary School Competition (Division 3 Kowloon Side 2) Final Day at Kowloon Park. Numerous Harry Wright Swim School swimmers represented their respective schools and delivered exceptional performances. Special congratulations go to the individual medallists in both events for their outstanding results. The whole team is commended for their dedication and achievements. Well done to all HWI swimmers for their continued excellence and representation.

Division 1 - October 18-19th Report
The Division 1 (Part 1) Short Course meet took place at Victoria Park Swimming Pool on 18–19th October 2025, marking the first major short course event of the season. Harry Wright Swim School fielded a large contingent of swimmers, who used the competition as essential preparation for the forthcoming Long Course Age Group Championships. The team posted several great performances, with special congratulations to the relay and individual medallists. Coaches Michael Fasching and Chui Wai Chun are proud of everyone’s efforts and look forward to more success in future meets. Well done to all HWI swimmers for their commitment and achievements.

HKG Open Water Competition - 12th October
The Hong Kong Open Water Swimming Competition Series (Part 2) took place on Sunday 12th October at Tai Mei Tuk, Tai Po. Harry Wright Swim School entered a team of Elite Long Distance Swimmers, who utilised the event as a valuable opportunity for development and experience-building. All swimmers produced excellent performances, with special congratulations to medalists Sin Chin Ting Keith (1st in 10km) and Ethan Muller (1st in 3.3km). Several athletes also secured Top 8 finishes, reflecting the team’s commitment and skill. Coaches Michael Fasching and Chui Wai Chun look forward to encouraging even wider participation in future events. Well done to everyone involved.

HKG Open Water Competition - 12th October
On Sunday, 12th October, Harry Wright Swim School’s Elite Long Distance Swimmers competed at the Hong Kong Open Water Swimming Competition Series in Tai Mei Tuk. The event provided valuable experience for the team’s open water specialists, who delivered outstanding performances.
Special congratulations to Sin Chin Ting Keith for winning gold in the 10km event and Ethan Muller for his gold medal in the 3.3km race. Wong Yik Man Mike also achieved an impressive 5th place finish in his 3.3km event.
All swimmers demonstrated excellent effort and team spirit throughout the meet. Coaches Michael Fasching and Chui Wai Chun commended the athletes and look forward to even greater participation in future competitions.
